Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System
Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) is an integrated health care delivery system that offers prevention, education and treatment programs to all residents of Santa Clara County, regardless of ability to pay. Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System provides a wide range of primary and specialty medical services and oversees public programs for the health and well-being of all county residents. The system includes the Public Health Department, Mental Health Department, and Department of Alcohol and Drug Services. Its flagship hospital, SCVMC, provides a wide range of state-of-the-art specialty services and is affiliated with nearby Stanford University School of Medicine. SCVMC is the only medical center in the region that has advanced centers such as its Trauma and Burn Centers, world-class Rehabilitation Center, and High-Risk Maternity Program.
