Einstein Healthcare Network
In 1951, Einstein Medical Center received a letter from its namesake, Albert Einstein. “I am gladly willing to accept this honor,” he wrote, granting permission for the facility to use his name. Today, Einstein Healthcare Network seeks to serve all patients in the Philadelphia and Montgomery County, Pa., communities with the same combination of intelligence and compassion that drove it to seek Einstein’s name more than 60 years ago. Einstein is a private, nonprofit integrated health care delivery system. Its network includes Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia – one of the largest academic medical centers in the Delaware Valley – Einstein Medical Center Elkins Park, Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, the nationally recognized MossRehab, Belmont Behavioral Health and multiple additional outpatient centers.
