Maricopa Integrated Health System
Since 1966, Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS) in Maricopa County, Arizona has been the area’s safety net hospital, ensuring top quality medical care for all area residents, regardless of their ability to pay. The health system is the largest teaching facility in Phoenix and trains more than 400 physicians a year to meet growing community needs. The health system is home to a Level 1 trauma center and the area’s only burn center (the Arizona Burn Center). At the heart of MIHS is Maricopa Medical Center. The health system provides specialty care through numerous clinics, including the Comprehensive Health Care Center, the McDowell Health Care Clinic, and 11 community-oriented family health centers.
